Back to School Crockpot Recipe

August will always be back to school time in my mind. It also is the start of a very busy sports season in our house, so I am often searching for quick and easy crockpot recipes. This is one of our favorites. It only has 4 ingredients.


2 lbs of boneless rump roast

12 oz sliced pepperoncini

1 packet of mild Italian seasoning mix

1 packet of ranch seasoning mix


Mix the ranch packet and the Italian seasoning packet with the pepperoncini juice. Stir

until the mix dissolves. Place the rump roast into your crock pot and cover with sliced

pepperoncinis. Then pour the juice mixture over the entire roast. Cook on low for 7-8

hours. Shred meat when done and eat on buns.
